I have this class for next semester. I bought it a little ahead of time to study during break. The book has very good information and I also bought the study guide book.

I bought this to brush up on my pharmacology, and it really isn't suited f or that purpose. If you are getting ready to take the NCLEX, this is the perfect study guide. It is very well organized.
Just what the nursing faculty needed
Good seller but the book is poorly written and not much information to study for the exam.
This book is a very helpful component to the actual textbook. It has great charts, crosswords, and matching portions to help know the basics as well as case studies and NCLEX type questions to apply what was read. Highly recommended!

Great NCLEX-worthy questions. We are using this book for the pharmacology part of my BSN program and the questions are right in line with the style of questions that we can expect to see on our State Board Final Exam (NCLEX). Everyone says Pharmacology is the toughest subject to get through in nursing school and they are right!! It IS so very tough. But this book really helps!! Every answer is filled with great explanations of why that drug is the correct pharmacological intervention for whatever disease process the question mentions.
